Hi! I'm Mel, the owner and the face behind The Nutcracker Emporium. What is The Nutcracker Emporium all about you ask? Well, many things, but it all starts with a story, vision and mission.

 

I started this business after I lost my Mum to cancer. My Mum truly made every holiday special, especially Christmas. She was not only my Mum, but my best friend. Losing her was the hardest thing I ever went through in my life. But I didn’t want to be stuck in this place of sadness. I wanted to remember all the moments of happiness I had with her. I have so many cherished memories of her and I wanted to make it my mission to make those memories come to life.

This is where The Nutcracker Emporium was born. A special place full of holiday heirlooms, vintage treasures, songs, laughs and the spirit of giving. All the things my Mum and I loved. The place where my cherished memories of her come to life.

It’s our mission to also do the same for you; bring your memories to life and help you create new ones with your family.
